I wanted to take this opportunity to personally invite you to join me at The South Texas Music Festival... www.musicfst99.com I attended the event last year and found there to be very little gospel / christian performers there...
Sooooo...I started on a mission ...I stopped while in the area at a christian radio station in the area and asked if they would lend support with advertising etc for christian groups for next years event...They agreed....
I then got in contact with the man who runs the festival ...I told him my thoughts of having a gospel / christian stage available at the Festival 2002 ...He agreed and said he had wanted to do this but had no one to head it up....Well ....Here I am....
But there is one slight problem........I Cannot do it alone....!
I need others who are involved in christain music to also be involved..to help me carry the torch....
Music is a very universal language....and can reach the hard hearts of man...I hope you will spend some time in prayer and seek God on this and if you feel as you would like to join us in this effort of spreading the gospel in music...Please respond to this email...
This is not a small event .....25-30,000 people attend this event each year....It also requires advance planning and commitment....that is why I am contacting you now...
If you wish to participate....please contact me asap....I will need a recording of your music tape or cd commercial or home made is fine....
I will need a photo of good quality...and a short bio about yourself...
These items placed together are known as a simple press pack...

You can make hotel arrangements from there or you can plan to camp on the grounds of the festival ...you can find that info from the site...
This Festival is a great way to not only showcase your act...and obtain greater public recognition...but is a way to share the Love of God....
For those of you who have recorded material ...you may sell it at the Festival....as well as any other wares you may use to support your ministry...t-shirts etc....
There is No charge for you to participate in this event...your only expense will be your own personal expenses....
Please do not just show up there expecting to participate...as I stated before this is a well organized event and Must be arranged in an orderly fashion....
