hey everyone, so i've started getting into gospel music recently and i've heard some great things. I really like the emotion evident on most artists' recordings and gospel in my mind is a great alternative to most of the processed stuff that's mainstream right now. anyway, i work at universal music and am fortunate to be able to get to listen to albums before they are released. My co-worker recently lent me a copy of a new gospel album coming out called CHURCH which is simply amazing. Basically, the album consists of music stars like Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan (i think i spelled it right), and En Vogue, going back to their roots and doing incredible gospel versions of modern and old pop songs. These women really show their unique vocal talents. I loved what i heard and can't wait to get my own copy when it comes out on may 6th. I really think gospel and even just music fans should check it out.
