ENTEL RECORDS ARTIST TOUCH DUE TO RELEASE HIS HOT NEW SINGLE “FROM DOWN SOUTH TO UP NORTH”<br>
December 18, 2003 – There is a soulful sound coming from Seattle, Washington home of Entel Records. Its source is from a sound booth occupied by non-other than urban gospel recording artist Curtis Hall aka “Touch”.
Inspired by Martin Luther King, today Touch is living out his dream as a positive force in the Music Industry. He continues to push the limit of musical traditions to reach the unreachable. With a well-constructed production team, this single comes to you along with the anticipated spring 2004 release of the full-length album “Real Love”.
The new single “From Down South to Up North” has been quoted to be one of the most anticipated single’s to be released into radio airplay for the New Year. With the initial release, a limited amount of live appearances poised to pack the urban gospel arena will be announced soon.
Greenwood, Mississippi is where Touch began his spiritual journey born in 1972. Due to his southern roots, Touch was exposed to gospel music at a very young age, finding solace in church and through music. At age eleven, Touch joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Morgan City, Mississippi, where he continued to sing and write songs. He took his message on the road at age thirteen when he joined his first male chorus and began singing in different cities throughout the state of Mississippi.
Adulthood brought Touch to Peoria, Illinois, where he joined the New Testament Church; he sang in the choir and also took on the position of praise and worship leader. After moving west to Tacoma, Washington, Touch further developed his talent and recorded his first single. Then in 1995, he recorded and released an independent EP. After successful reception in the Pacific Northwest’s gospel community, Touch recognized and anticipated the reality of a music career. For Urban Gospel Fans this new single and album will reaffirm and initiate discovery to new believers. A solid addition to any gospel music library!
